I was able to spend a long weekend with good friends in the southern Outer Banks this summer. Every sunset there is a marvel, however one evening we walked to the sound together and watched as the sun took its time changing the sky over and over again, moment by moment. It was the kind of sunset you applaud after the light finally slips below the horizon.
