Painted during my stay at Virgina Center of the Creative Arts, this painting was inspired by pictures I took over the winter while walking through Stony Run in Remington, Baltimore. I loved how the thin ice created incredible contract with the water and stone. I took these photos with me to VCCA, knowing that they would be completed there.
