Mural pricing is dependent on the intricacy of design, surface, environment, cost of travel, etc. This is a starting place if you are thinking about asking for a mural quote. Check out my mural page to see work examples.

$20 per square foot for simple design work on a flat surface (price per sq. ft. will increase with design intricacy)

$200 initial design fee, $50 for each re-design

Materials (interior paint is less expensive than exterior)

Travel costs (standard milage rates, currently 57.5 cents per mile, plus housing)

Any surface prep will be an extra cost (i.e. filling holes, priming, sanding, etc.)

MURALS
Commissioned art prices are dependent on the medium, size, and intricacy. For example, a large painted canvas will be 2-3 times more expensive than a work on paper. Below is a starting place if you're interested in commissioning a piece.

Fine art commissions generally start at $25 per hour. A quote would estimate my time based on the size and type of work you're interested in.
