On March 26th, 2024, we lost lives and our iconic Francis Scott Key Bridge in a horrible catastrophe. I saw the footage at 2:30am that Tuesday and, like many others, could not believe what I was witnessing.

I am from Maryland and have lived in Baltimore since 1998. As a kid, our babysitter would take us across the Key Bridge to go crabbing. As an adult, I steered a friends' sailboat through the channel, under the bridge, at dusk. It was magic. I love this city so very much. I am a lifer.

My family is one of carpenters, welders, and car mechanics. My husband and I love Central America deeply and have been lucky to visit several of her countries, including Hondoras and Nicaragua. My heart is broken for the families who lost people on the Key Bridge that night. This little artwork is for them.

All the profit from each purchase will go to support the families of the Francis Scott Key Bridge workers through CASA (www.wearecasa.org). Each magnet will show the Key Bridge, as it was, under a different sunrise - hope for the new day. They will all be unique. Yours will be yours and no one elses.
