Inspired by the intense contrasts created on the plains just before the sunset at Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, this one-of-a-kind weaving was hand-woven with a darning needle. The frame is hand-made from reclaimed wood from a local woodworker and hand-painted in acrylic. Woven with cotton embroidery thread and locally hand-dyed wool yarn, hand-spun alpaca yarn, and ice-dyed cotton yarn. Suede hanger.
